Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated October 29, 2026
These are the terms for using Launch Lookout, a service run by Jeff Monahan from Vancouver, Washington. By creating an account you agree to them. They are short on purpose.
What you get
A map and list of new business signals in the Portland–Vancouver metro, compiled every Monday from public records (business registrations and building, sign and pre-application permits), filtered to the radius and lead types you choose, plus an optional Monday email digest. One account is for one person at one business.
Trial, price and billing
- The first 14 days are free. A card is required to start the trial.
- On day 15 the subscription begins at $79 per month, charged to that card by Stripe, and renews monthly until you cancel. We email you three days before the first charge.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page, in one click. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- No refunds. Because the trial is free and you can cancel before it ends, charges that have gone through are not refunded, in whole or in part. If you think a charge is a mistake, write to us and we will look.
- Prices may change; we will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change applies to you.
- $79 is the full monthly charge. Where sales tax applies, it is included in that price, not added on top.
What we promise, and what we don't
We do our best to compile the records accurately and on time every Monday, but the records are published by government offices on their own schedules and with their own errors, and sometimes a source is late, changes format or goes offline. The leads are information, not advice, and we do not guarantee that any lead is accurate, current, or will turn into business. The service is provided as is; to the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Your part
- Keep your login to yourself and use the data for your own business development.
- Don't resell, scrape, or republish the compiled leads, and don't use them for anything unlawful, including contacting people who have asked not to be contacted.
- Respect the laws that apply to how you reach out: do-not-call rules, email and texting rules, and the like.
If an account breaks these rules we may close it, and the no-refund rule still applies.
Privacy
How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we email account holders first. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and any dispute is heard in the courts of Clark County, Washington.
