Privacy Policy

Launch Lookout is run by Jeff Monahan from Vancouver, Washington. This page says what the service collects about you, why, who else sees it, and how to get it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address and a password (stored only as a hash) or, if you use a magic link, just the email address. Your company name, trade, home base address with its map coordinates, search radius and the lead types you want, all of which you type in yourself.
• Your use of the leads. Which leads you mark as new, contacted, won or skipped, and any note you add. That is there so your dashboard remembers it; nobody else sees it.
• Billing. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers; we store Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers, your subscription status and its dates.
• Email. Whether you want the Monday digest, and a log of each digest we sent you (date and lead count).
• Site analytics. The hosting platform (Lovable) records page views, country, device type and referrer in aggregate. We do not run advertising trackers.

Where the leads come from

The leads themselves are public records: business registrations published by the Oregon Secretary of State, and building, sign and pre-application records published by the City of Portland, Clark County and the City of Vancouver. We compile and map them; we do not add private information about the people in them, and we do not sell or resell subscriber data to anyone.

Why we use your data

To show you the leads within your radius, to send you the Monday digest if you want it, to bill the subscription, to answer your emails, and to keep the service working. We do not use your data for anything else.

Who else sees it

Three providers process data on our behalf, each only for its job: Lovable (hosting and the database), Stripe (payments) and Resend (sending email). We share nothing with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. Delete your account by emailing jeff@launchlookout.com and your profile, lead notes and digest log go with it within 30 days; Stripe keeps the invoices it is legally required to keep.

Email

The Monday digest has a one-click unsubscribe link, and the same switch is on your account page. Billing emails (a trial-ending reminder, receipts) go out as long as you have a subscription.

Your choices

You can see and change everything you gave us from your account page, ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by writing to jeff@launchlookout.com. We answer within a few business days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email account holders before it takes effect. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
